Somebody has said you can hear that cow in that album. I think also so, although I don´t think Hipgnosis or Floyd has meant that. Anyway my fav album and also one of my fav covers. I think only covers I don´t like that much are the Final Cut and Division Bell.

That cover is maybe the most thought one in Pink Floyd covers. Those four elements that are also put into every member of Floyd. Also the theme of absence in every picture of it. In this album really cover and musical and text themes unite. I think Pink Floyd handles with this album the loss and trauma of Syd, but maybe not enough or too late because the bands bad atmosphere just continued and lead the bad things.

Well, animals is pretty cool. Hard to pass up Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here though. Someone voted PULSE, it does have wicked cool art.

Not to mention the original releases of Pulse had the flashing LED on the CD packaging

Yes, I had the US version...purchased in the mid 70's and it did come with the stickers as well, though poster, stickers and vinyl are all long gone by now

DSOTM because the original vinyl release came with those 2 cool posters. One of the pyramids and this one which I had on my wall for years...

AHM. Floyd usually had great cover art though.

I do like Floyd's artwork, much more than the music. WYWH and AHM are my favorites.

Granted it is a very tough choice, but my vote went for the brilliant design of WYWH, just over the utter simplicity of DSotM.
Apologies for omitting 'A Collection of Great Dance Songs', and 'Is There Anybody Out There?: The Wall Live 1980-81' from the poll, BTW.
