Four albums, Dieu est Fou doesn't fit the theme quite so well, and was the first of these i discovered (and the first album I suggested and prepared for addition at PA). The other three I discovered at around about the same time thanks to googling between six and seven years ago when I was looking for choral progressive rock projects.

Jean-Claude Vannier - L'enfant assassin des mouches

William Sheller - Lux Aeterna

Pascal Duffard - Dieu est fou

Urban Sax - Spiral

(just the one track from Spiral in that link, and my favourite off the album)

Pierre, I hope you don't think I'm ripping off your idea, but I have been doing such polls for a long time too. Like you, I like to expose people to music that I love and get their reactions.

Of course not, Greg.  It was good to hear Urban Sax again. I remember that I was afraid by their music when I was a kid.
Though my vote goes to the wonderful album of Jean Claude Vannier. Heart

Thanks Darryl and Pierre for responding. I think my favourite Urban Sax album is the one with Pierre Henry, Paradise Lost.

As for me, I play the first three I listed a lot. Today I'm mot in the mood for Lux Aeterna, so it gets my vote. My son Marcus' first loves from my collection, he is in French immersion by the way, was a track from the Vannier album and a track from the Sheller album. These ones:
