For STRAWBS fans in the upstate NY area, Ontario/Quebec, anyone who's devoted enough to drive for a show!

STRAWBS FULL ELECTRIC BAND in concert MAY 25 8pm at LOVIN' CUP BREWS & BISTRO, 300 Park Point Drive, Rochester NY 14623. Tickets will go on sale April 1st, $30 advance, $35 door. Venue website is www.lovincup.com but please note they tend to be a bit slow posting the dates and show info on their calendar. Phone and email contact info is on the website.

Original 1970s lineup of Dave Cousins (lead vocals, guitar), Dave Lambert (lead guitar, vocals), Chas Cronk (bass, vocals) and Tony Fernandez (drums) will be joined by Dave Bainbridge on keyboards. For the first time ever, this tour features the iconic Hero & Heroine album --named to Rolling Stone magazine's 50 best prog rock albums of all time-- performed in its entirety.

This is likely to be the only upstate NY show....there was a show booked in Syracuse on 5/4 but the venue accidentally double booked and it was not certain whether they would find another venue or cancel entirely.

If you haven't heard the electric band in a while and want to know how they sound now, here's a video of them playing the Moody Blues Cruise three weeks ago...

I'll be at the Sellersville PA show even though I live in MA.  Might try to get to the Ironhorse show in Northampton as well
