So The Dear Hunter announced that Act V is coming on September 9th of this year, titled Hymns With The Devil In Confessional. Anyone else really excited for this? I loved their Act IV album from last year, and each prior Act, and I have high hopes for this one. Here's a link to the album release site for those interested.

They've quickly become one of my favorite modern bands. Act III is incredibly varied, and tied with Act II as my probable favorite so far, while Act IV is very orchestral and pretty. I have no idea what to expect with Act V but I'm sure It'll be great. Here are some choice moments from the last two acts.

Definitely really excited!  Known about them for quite a while, but after seeing them live on a cruise ship 2 years ago I started really delving into their music.  Now one of my favorite bands.  I'd say in my top 5.  I don't throw the word genius around often, but there are a few modern musical geniuses out there and Casey Crescenzo is one of em!  I would say, "TAKE ALL MY MONEY," but, having already pre-ordered, I guess they already did.  Peace Smile

Looking forward to the album and the dropped track Gloria sounds excellent but The Dear Hunter Magna Gloria Roast coffee? I think I'll give that a miss.

Pretty much my favorite group on the site. Act IV was a minor let down for me, but I'm pumped nonetheless. This will make double digits for me seeing them live so that's a nice milestone.
