It was so hard to listen this album. I think it's the worst album I listened for 10 last years. There are not the music in it, not playing, not thought. It's the absolute catasrophe. And sometimes I think it's the end of the music at all. IMHO

Haven't heard it yet but have quite a few friends who feel the exact opposite about the album
Why do you dislike it so much?

It is empty, absolutely empty. It is nothing, it is absolute impotency. Moreover, it is hopelessness. It seems music will never alives again.

Methinks someone is being a little melodramatic. The end of all music? I'm not a much of a metalhead, let alone a post metal fan, but I just gave it a try and found it inoffensive and generic at worst.
when i was a kid a doller was worth ten dollers - now a doller couldnt even buy you fifty cents

Ok, mayby I am melodramatic. But this is the feeling that takes me every time when I try to listen the new bands: this is not only generic but disgusting. There are not so many worthy bands but a crowd of unworthy. Mayby it's excessive pathos, I agree, but it's my permanent feeling. And the new album of Cult of Luna is the quintessence of nonsense, the simulation of music. IMHO
