Queen by a mile because of better song writing and production. Maneige was a good band, but they're not even in the same league. I'm not sure the two can even be compared.

As unique as Queen is there is no contest really, Maneige are one of the best bands of the 70's.

Both were very unique, hard to immitate, and had original way of incorporating classical or its derivated forms into their sound, and that's where the comparison stops. So, do you prefer Maneige's sophisticated blend of symphonic music, jazzy prog and traits of folk, or Queen's bombastic fusion of musical, hard rock, glam etc?

For me, Maneige all the way. Big smile
