Hello!

My name is Rebecca; short version: bek (it is like beck/becky)
I'm 17 and live in Australia, I've been inspired and influenced by prog for about 2 years now, so much to learn and listen to still, but I love what I have heard now...
My absolute favourites include Opeth, DT, Tool, LTE and Fantomas etc then I have some fave songs by Pink Floyd, King Crimson etc.. when i was reading about K.C i found it amazingly strange and comical that so many band members have left/joined it.
There are so many more bands I enjoy listening to that aren't really from the prog genre, but i really believe one of them should be (Mudvayne)...
Anyway, nice to meet you all!
BTW does anyone have a myspace account?

Hello. KC do indeed have a bit of a tortured history, but let's remember that it's Fripp's band and he merely assembles people around him to work with.

As for Yes, though... Now THERE'S a family tree!

Edit: Oh, and some recommendations for you: Van Der Graaf Generator, Alamaailman Vasarat and Mr Bungle. All in the archives!
