Legacy is a tired word, sometimes it means something, other times not. Inportance is difficult to meassure, but it's not inpossible. From piles of varied docus about music, both entertaining, informative, educational or fun. One see them for many reasons. This docu is about heart, soul and a drive to prove something. A brave, and empowering film which shows music histories lost hidden corner in an otherwise popular music state as Alabama. So in memory of last weeks loss of Rick Hall, the docu of Muscle Sholes

I saw this when it came out 3-4 yrs ago, it's brilliant and speaks to the heart and soul of music. One cannot deny that there was pure magic in the air and water in north Alabama.

I lived right across the river from Muscle Shoals and worked in Sheffield just down the street from 3614 Jackson Hwy studio, drove by it everyday.

Watch this movie if you want to understand where great music comes from.
