From 1977, one of best debut albums by anyone, imho. Some like the follow up Of Queues and Cures better but the debut is it for me.

While I enjoy Gaskin's voice and contribution there's a bit too much of it on this album for my taste.
A great listen indeed and a must-have but the almighty Queues and Cures is the one afaic. |

*If I counted Canterbury bands not from Canterbury I'd include Cos, Moving Gelatine Plates and Picchio Dal Pozzo debuts too.

On the debut album it is actually Amanda Parsons, Barbara Gaskin and Ann Rosenthal known as "The Northettes" who sing.
