I've only got the Vangelis album as yet. The only one I'm excited about getting is In Continuum - Acceleration Theory which is Dave Kerzner's latest project and features both Marco Minnemann and Nick D'Virgilio on drums.
I'm not sure if it's got a proper European release as yet though. I would rather not pay the £18 odd pounds + £5.23 delivery if I purchase from Amazon US.

I was unable to find Stephan Thelen in the archives as a solo artist.  They must be entered in the archives to be included on the list.  You can request the artist addition in the appropriate thread.  Thanks!

I did this already.  No one has taken any actions.

I have heard it and I reviewed it.  It's pretty standard Santana with touches of R&B and jazz fusion, made up of 3 new tracks and 2 edited versions.

Cool, just read it. Every time I think Carlos may revisit Santana III-Caravanserai-Welcome territory, he seems to only drive by it like a car splashing gutter water on a bystander. I'll still check it out.

Anyway, here is the list of what was released last month.  I am sure I have missed some, so feel free to add to the list, but make sure they are listed on this site first.  If they are not, and you think they should be on Prog Archives, then go into the thread that is created for that purpose, namely “Suggest New Bands and Artists”.

As you can see, this is quite a list.  I tried to review everyone of them, but was unable to do them all, so I decided not to review live albums unless requested by the artist.  There were a few others that I didn’t get to that I am hoping to.  But, this is a daunting task and so your help is much appreciated.  These artists rely on our reviews to help spread their music around.  Just pick a few that you think you would be interested in or do as many as you want.  Most of them are available for streaming on Bandcamp or YouTube and other places.  You might find something you really like, like I did.

Here are my top picks (in no particular order, remember I missed a few):

1)     Mono – “No Where, Now Here”

2)     Rozmainsky & Mikhaylov – “Adventures at the Babooniumfest 2017”

3)     Buke and Gase – “Scholars”

4)     Helium Horse Fly – “Hollowed”

5)   Magnesis – “Alice au Pays des Delires” (1st disc)

6)   Lost Crowns - "Every Night Something Happens"

Honorable Mentions:

1)     Mad Fellaz – “Mad Fellaz III

2)     Samuel Cadima – “Outros Horizontes”

3)     Michael Zucker – “Strawberry Melt”

Feel free to add comments or add any that I may have forgot and I will edit this list.

Any suggestions will help as I plan on doing this every month, but feel free to review any time!

Wonderful! Thanks for doing this.

Thanks Silly Puppy.  When there are a lot of new releases like there have been in the last 2 - 3 weeks, I get behind and then start to wish I can review something more familiar, but I'm going to keep trying.  I think I'm behind like 10 new releases now and it seems I will never catch up.  So you'll see something reviewed from my personal collection once in a while.

This album is incredible and I'd be very surprised if it isn't sitting at #1 on my list come December.

Both Helium Horse Fly and Electric Asturias (under Asturias) are already on the list.  In fact HHF was a favorite of mine.

I will add the others to the list.  Thank you for the additions.

I couldn't find a listing for Lost Crowns on PA.  I will check it out though.

They've just been cleared for addition by the Avant team, they'll be up soon. Smile

Actually I did notice that you entered a lot of the new releases and that was extremely helpful.  I really appreciated that most of the NRs were already added to the database thanks to your work!  Clap  This way I could spend more time reviewing.
