Hey all - I am a fan of the drum work on Jon Anderson's Animation album from 1982.

One thing I never knew was which songs does Simon Phillips play on versus Ian Wallace?   Can anyone help me out please? This is the track list:

Side One

  1. "Olympia" (4:58)
  2. "Animation" (9:07)
  3. "Surrender" (3:53)
  4. "All in a Matter of Time" (3:06)

Side Two

  1. "Unlearning (The Dividing Line)" (4:56)
  2. "Boundaries" (3:20)
  3. "Pressure Point" (3:20)
  4. "Much Better Reason" (4:27)
  5. "All Gods Children" (4:25)

Bonus tracks

  • "The Spell"  (11:40)
  • "Spider"  (2:51)

That's a good question. I'm really not sure. However, Simon Phillips is listed under personnel so I'm guessing he plays drums on most of it. Ian Wallace is just listed as an additional musician. This is what it says on wikipedia anyway. I like the album a lot too by the way. Glad they finally released it on cd several years ago.
