List 10 King Crimson Songs. One from each album, that demonstrates the group's musical diversity. (I'm Still struggling with my own. )

Yeah, I thought that Cat Food should be a chosen one too... but there HAD to be a Mellotron / Flute led song among the lot, and if I didn't include ItWoP, then I would have had to include Epitaph or The Court of the Crimson King, and for doing that I would have had to leave 21st Century Schizoid Man out. |

1. In the Court of The Crimson King
2. 21st Century Schizoid Man -- Two markedly different compositions bookending their debut album. They are at different ends of the prog spectrum: one is heavy mellotron and symphonic, the other has elements of heavy metal and jazz fusion. 3. Cat Food 4. Cirkus 5. Lark's Tongue in Aspic, Part One 6. Book of Saturdays 7. The Night Watch 8. Fracture 9. Red 10. Starless

I like the list too. But Cat Food was also a single (albeit shorter), so it doesn't have to bump Poseidon out. |

How about a list based not only on diversity, but also on the oddest tracks:
1. The World is My Oyster Soup Kitchen Floor Wax Museum 2. Moonchild 3. Cat Food (I think this should be melded with the b-side "Groon" like on "A Young Person's Guide...") 4. Happy Family 5. Ladies of the Road 6. Larks' Tongues in Aspic Part I 7. Neurotica 8. The Sheltering Sky 9. Industry 10. Sex Sleep Eat Drink Dream Edited by TCat - March 23 2020 at 09:41 |

Or I just do it like Dark Elf that included Schizoid Man and Court because of how different they are, and then include Cat Food too... though then I would have to choose one other song to leave out from the rest of the list. |
