Alright, so I clearly have too much time on my hands but to follow up with my mask poll, some people clearly weren't listening and now they need a doctor.  Which of these medical professionals have what it takes to cure whatever ails you?  A little something for everyone I do believe from natural remedies to the latest state of the art treatments.  Big smile

And because I couldn't find a YouTube video, here is a link to Upsilon Acrux's Bandcamp page for My Brother the Doctor.

And if you missed the mask poll to which I referenced at the beginning, you can check it out here:

Although I'm unfamiliar with any of the songs in the poll, a big favourite of mine has always been "Doctor's Orders" by Sunny, even though it's not the remotest bit proggy. Smile

I also like "Doctor Doctor" by UFO, "Doctor Livingstone, I Presume" by the Moody Blues" and "Doctor My Eyes" by Jackson Browne. Smile

I would have included that one, but couldn't find a YouTube video for it.

Steely Dan...of course ,but I guess my name would give it away....but it is an exquisite track from an exquisite LP.

I'd change out Tull's later song with a much better one from an earlier period....

Happy to oblige. It's on Living in the Past.

Yeah, I definitely would have picked the Pie tune (originally Ray Charles), but I think the original intent was PA-related bands.

Another notable one missing from 1968 (including some nice early mellotron by Mike Pinder)....

^Yep. I was just thinking that the Moody Blues had a song called Dr. Livingstone(I presume) also. However, I admit I don't see the need for two songs with the same name.

Captain Beefheart Doctor Dark is my choice, and that should've been the Beefheart option here!!!

Wonderful list!
I would blindly go for Gong but this snippet is just a nice synth-spacy interlude. Will listen to the bunch of titles that I don't know before casting a vote, but in the mean-time - and to stay close to Gong - I would suggest to listen to the Confessions of Dr Dream (a 4-part 18 min. suite full of healing material by Kevin Ayers!). Part three, The Last Chance Dance :
