Sixth in a series of polls started 8 years ago, involving picking a band and trying to find people's favorite album art of that particular group.

Choose your favorite album, based strictly on the album art. These polls are meant for studio albums only, but please feel free to mention your favorite live/ep/comp/etc cover arts as well.

This time will feature Opeth as the band in the spotlight:

My favourite is the covert art of Still Life.
"PROG IS MY FERRARI".

Still Life original or Remaster? I actually prefer the later, for me though my favorite is Morningrise. Its Metal as f**k, but I think all their album covers are great.

I like everything about the cover art and the music of the last one and then the next one down is Still Life for me. I find it difficult to disassociate the album art from the music because the two connect for me.

The newest Opeth album has their best artwork, but many of them are pretty cool as well! Thumbs Up

I have all the Opeth albums (except for Deliverance) on LP and scoured every inch of the artworks whilst listening. They are striking, even Orchid. Who’d have thought of gracing a Death Metal album with a bright pink flower ??

Some wonderful art there. It's between Morningrise and Sorceress; like their more recent music more, but the Morningrise cover is genius.

Either, but it appears it doesn't really matter in this case. Tongue

In the end, there are several great choices, but I have to go with Sorceress. It's too engrossing to say no to.

Yeah...its hard to say any are bad, just perhaps not as exciting as others. But they usually hit it out of the park.
