I subscribed just so I can listen to it a bit. It's apparently not top 30 but top 20.

Yeah, they DJs were definitely saying "top 30" around the time I made the thread, but I think they ended up changing their mind to keep the show shorter. Anyway, here is the list: 20 - Asia - Asia 19 - Moody Blues - In Search of the Lost Chord 18 - Alan Parsons Project - I Robot 17 - Supertramp - Breakfast in America 16- Jethro Tull - Aqualung 15 - Kansas - Point of No Return 14 - Genesis - A Trick of the Tail 13 - Rush - Hemispheres 12 - ELP - Brain Salad Surgery 11 - Yes - Fragile 10 - Kansas - Left Overture 9 - Genesis - Lamb Lies Down on Broadway 8 - Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick 7 - Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here 6 - Moody Blues - Days of Future Past 5 - Rush - 2112 4 - ELP - Emerson, Lake & Palmer 3 - King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King 2 - Yes - Close to the Edge 1 - Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon |

I was about to post it just now but you beat me to it. Thanks though. Probably no real surprises on there but I would like to mention a few albums that I think could have made the top 20:
Gentle Giant -Octopus King Crimson - Red Yes - The Yes Album Genesis - Selling England By the Pound ELP - Tarkus Rush - Moving Pictures By the way, not a big deal but you copied and pasted that list from the progressive ears website didn't you? Nope, from the notes section of my phone from when I was listening yesterday. But I posted it over there first yesterday. That’s me. |

Yes, pretty much expected 2 x Pink Floyd 2 x Genesis 2 x ELP 2 x Yes 2 x Jethro Tull 2 x Kansas 2 x Moody Blues 2 x Rush Plus King Krimson, Alan Parsons, Supertramp, Asia The only one that's questionable IMO is Asia, not really "essential" Prog (Though I like Asia) |

LoL!
A little to much psychedelic in my Prog today. I still have XM because it sure beats whatever the local Pop/cRAP station is playing when I travel. Still furious that they dropped the Prog "Music Lab" channel from the lineup. |

That happened a long time ago now. I think they sacked it in 2005 or so. The Music Lab was only around for about a year. However, I remember they played jam band stuff too. I'm not really sure why they dropped it other than they thought there wasn't enough interest in it. I don't think the dj who did it was the best person for the job anyway. These days your better off just listening to prog internet radio although you can't really listen to that in your car.
