When it came to choosing an artist for the letter "J", Jade Warrior won by a narrow margin over Jethro Tull, so I'll save Ian Anderson & co. for my second A-Z list.

I was thinking about doing a modern prog albums poll. |

Gentle Giant should have been listed instead of David Gilmour... GG was arguably the most British of British Prog bands, and Gilmour is already represented here by Pink Floyd...

Why don't you do an albums poll if that's what you'd prefer? You may have noticed that you're the only one who's complained about this being an artists poll.

Ok. He made a poll including these particular bands/artists because they were on his YouTube channel, I don't know why he made that remark - maybe another reason? |

Many of my favorites are on this list. I gave my vote to one I do not think will get a lot - Jade Warrior.

You misunderstood. He said he would not make an albums poll because he wouldn't be able to choose. Aren't the rest of us the target audience? Wouldn't a poll start a little bit of conversation? I don't understand... It makes little sense to me...

I like to have a discussion, but you like to turn it into an argument.

The answer to your question is obvious, which is why he has not answered it. Why would he have made a poll for the general public if it was just for himself? That's all I will say. |

what are you doing? You cut out most of what i said to tell me why there are so many bands in the poll? I just gave you a piece of advice. You either take it or leave it, but don't take my words out of context... |

There are 25 poll choices simply because there are 26 letters in the alphabet.

are you making these polls for us or for yourself? albums' poll are more interesting than bands polls, especially a poll with too many bands which makes it impossible to choose. Just a few bands might work fine, 20 something will be hard. Just word of advice, that's all.
