IQ would have been my second choice in the poll, seeing as that's the only other album I know besides Ayreon. Smile

Magma over Far Corner for me,

Guapo - 5 Suns and Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - Of Natural History are the 2 perfect 15 albums from 2004.

Me too, my favourite albumCoolClap

Dark Matter dips in between the two classics at either end, but still a great album.

Marbles is overrated as far as I'm concerned.  Some great songs, oh yes, but too much filler.  There's a great single album in there (and it's not the one they released....)

IQ's Dark Matter is nice, but Gong's Acid Motherhood was for me the best surprise.

A lot of good ones in this list. Went with IQ. Magenta would be my second choice.

A few more obscure ones from 2004:
Solar Project - Force Majeure
Red Sand - Mirror of Insanity
Eccentric Orbit - Attack of the Martians
Glass Hammer - Shadowlands
Liquid Scarlet - Liquid Scarlet
Mangrove - Touch Wood
