Orchestra of the Upper Atmosphere for Krautrock

Formed by multi-instrumentalist Martin Archer in Sheffield, Orchestra of the Upper Atmosphere are an electroacoustic improvisation collective with many revolving members. The band began as a collaboration between Archer, Chris Bywater and Steve Dinsdale (drummer for Radio Massacre International), eventually taking shape into a a massive live unit supplemented with choir, violin, viola, cello and assorted electronics. Their jazz and classical-inspired sound eschews soloing in favour of krautrock's repetition and improvising. The Orchestra's expansive, adventurous style will appeal to fans of artists such as Can, Alice Coltrane, Magma, Terry Riley, Tangerine Dream and Neptunian Maximalism.

	I suggested this one back in 2013 (http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=92502) and someone else it brought it to attention two years later (http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=102917), but despite getting its own Progfreak page in 2019 it doesn't seem to have undergone a vote.
