And once again, two quite different records that to me seem to be an interesting match-up: These are 'A' by J Tull and 'Frequency' by IQ, both are really good! Vote and comment which one of the two you prefer and why. |

For some odd reason Frequency is my favourite IQ album so that's my choice over this Jethro Tull.

I love the IQ album but my collection only got as far as Stormwatch as far as JT goes, so can't vote.

I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect. |

Another interesting match up - another two albums that are OK but not great in my view. Just about IQ.

First vote for A. Not the best Tull album, but IQ has never been my cup of tea.

The first Tull album to have Peggy and Eddie Jobson on it? Versus IQ? Really?

It's 'A' for me. It's very good (maybe a bit surprisinlgy). With refreshed sound and still very prog-oriented track structures it was last really good JT album for some time and while I like Catfish and Roots I think they have never recorded anything as good as 'A" after. As for the IQ - I don't care for majority of neo-regressive rock and IQ is one of those bands so it wasn't a hard poll for me :)

I also don't have A, so will resist voting for the brilliant Frequency....

'Frequency' blows away 'A'! I thought they would be more equal-voted.
