PA's Top 100 Prog Albums, Year by Year

Maybe I came across as too contrary. I wouldn't say dismal, but the list isn't very good for my tastes either. There are a number of albums I love, and he ones I like best are in the top 50 (not sure I like any after that). I could make a really sweet for my taste list from the year of 25 or so. Various of those top 50 would be included, and various of mine would not be in PA or be considered Prog (like Siouxsie and The Banshees Peepshow, Cocteau Twins' Blue Bell Knoll…. I'd be lying if I said that 1988 is one of the strongest years in my collection.
You mentioned Japanese albums and one of my favourites from the 80s is Japanese and from the 1988 year, Symphonic Suite AKIRA, {edit forgot to specify by whom} by Geinoh Yamashirogumi.

Any year can be great if you look hard enough and any list of favourites can be great if you have diverse enough tastes. Of course.
