1) Yes: CTTE
2) Yes: Relayer
3) Genesis: SEBTP
4) Yes: The Yes Album
5) Genesis: A Trick of The Tail
6) Genesis: Foxtrot
7) Yes: Fragile
8) Yes: GFTO
9) Genesis: Nursery Cryme
10) Yes: TFTO
11) Yes: Drama
12) Genesis: Wind & Wuthering
13) Genesis: TLLDOB
14) Genesis: Trespass
15) Yes: Tormato
16) Genesis: Duke
17) Yes: Time and a Word
18) Genesis: ATTWT

Each ranked position added for a total score:

Yes (75)
Genesis (96)

Yes wins.

That's another way of doing it.

Another way
5 Star Albums
Yes - Close To The Edge, Fragile, Drama
Genesis - Foxtrot, A Trick Of The Tail, And Then There Were Three
4 star albums
Yes - The Yes Album, Relayer, Going For The One
Genesis - Nursery Cryme, Selling England By The Pound, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, Wind and Wuthering
3 star albums
Yes - A Time and a Word, Tormato, Tales From Topographic Oceans
Genesis - Trespass, Duke

Genesis still edge it and I do actually like ATTWT more than SEBTP (and Drama more than Relayer)

Among these it's got to be Pink Floyd for me. Followed by Genesis. Jethro Tull comes third I suppose.

This is quite a tough one.. ok, Genesis followed by Pink Floyd followed by Jethro Tull. All with the narrowest of gaps and all with weaker, but still admirable, moments as the 80's neared.
