Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Two strong for me albums for me here, Magma's KA and Guapo's 5 Suns, but I vote for Guapo as I think that is a really special album. My favorute "prog" one these days from that year might be Ghost's Hypnotic Underworld. And not Prog, but Prog adjacent, Air's Talkie Walkie has been a very special one from that year to me since its release.

Magenta > Guapo > IQ > Ayreon. I sent all my MARC records to Maryland to be processed into rolls wrapped around cardboard tubes.

As Mike forgot to press the 'vote button' for Neal Morse album then I better in his absence! It's close between that, Magenta, IQ and Glass Hammer. Strong year.

such a strong year! Red Sand with their Mirror Of Insanity debut should've been on the list though, top-5 without it:

1. IQ - Dark Matter
2. The Watch - Vacuum
3. Le Orme - L'Infinito
4. Magenta - Seven
5. Guapo - Five Suns
