Never saw any iteration of the Softs previously, but were a bucket list band for me and am happy to finally have seen them.  Tremendous performance, and lovely chaps to meet in person.

Their set:

Facelift
Burden of Proof
The Visitor at the Window
The Tale of Taliesin
Guitar improv
Heart Off Guard
The Stars Apart
The Man Who Waved at Trains
One Glove
Joy of a Toy
Kings and Queens
10:30 Returns to the Bedroom / Middleburn / Hidden Details / Hazard Profile Part One

Encore:
Backwards / Noisette

Was at the show outside Syracuse the next night - an outdoor gig on a chilly night that drew less than 50.  Then saw them a few nights later at a little club in Ottawa (detained for two hours at Canadian customs on the way in, then for three hours at US customs on the way back - fuuuuuuuck those dudes).  Excellent shows - this band cooks.  The setlist for both shows was identical to the one listed above, which means very little as this band could never play a tune the same way twice.
I like to feel the suspense when you're certain you know I am there.....
