A very solid poll full of good albums but that Rainbow album is perhaps still my favorite release of theirs so how could I not vote for it. Long Live Rock 'n' Roll!

Rainbow - Long Live Rock 'n' Roll. If only for the incredible Gates of Babylon and Kill the King.

-I really like the sound of early Deep Purple. All of their first three first studio albums have a few wonderful songs. But all of them has a few less than wonderful songs as well.

First vote for Jon Lord
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Cozy's versions of The Big Country and The 633 Squadron make me happy. Plus the track 'Up On The Downs' reminds me of where I'm from , being a Wiltshire boy born and bred. (The ''Downs'' refers to the hills in that part of the world, the name of my home town Swindon being derived from 'Pigs Hill' which then became 'Swine Down'. History lesson over)
