For some odd reason I cannot login to the main site - obviously logging into the forum is OK or I wouldn't be typing this message!

The other day the display of the main site went screwy on me and from past experience clearing the PA cookies from my browser (Firefox) resolves the issue. But when I now attemt top login to the main site I get the message:

Quote Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a01a8'

Object required: 'objItem'

/login_user_submit.asp, line 43

Any ideas?

^ I have EXACTLY the same problem, same error message and inability to log in, but not preceded by the display issues mentioned above. I posted it in the "Cannot Log In" thread the other day. I post it here not to signal impatience, just to cluster like bugs together.

I tried again by logging out from the forum, clearing the PA cookies and even removing the saved password. Upon attempting to log-in to the main site first, I got the same error, but logging into the forum was no problem.

I was just now able to log in. Maybe someone fixed it on the back end. If not, the two things I did differently were (1) change my password to one with fewer special characters, and (2) log in to the forum first and then into the main site. No idea if either of those things affected anything.

I'm still not having any luck - I wish someone from the admin team would respond.

I have even tried changing my password, clearing all site cookies, logging right out, including rebooting my browser and still cannot login to the main site.

What am I doing wrong?
