Dragonforce is power metal at it fullest.  They play faster than any other band... like... ever... it is really pretty fantastic to hear them rock out.  I enjoy it greatly.  Favorite, and probably the best album, is SONIC FIRESTORM!  How's that for metal, eh?  That is pretty f**king metal.  But the new album, Inhuman Rampage, sounds promising too.  This band rocks.  I just wanted to know if there were any other proggers out there that felt the same way.

Dragonforce is pretty cool, they are indeed faster then fast.

Have you ever heard of bands such as Secret Sphere or Sonata Arctica? They are pretty similar to Dragonforce.

Its just as I feared, Its only a matter of time before progarchives becomes the metal archives.

You know there are websites dedicated exclusivly to metal whose overwhelming majority of members are among your age group, I honestly believe they would be more interestid in this thread then everyone else on this website,well, except for the kiddies ofcourse.

Ahh, Im just messing with you but you have to admit, there is some truth to some of this.

DragonForce can be dull if you listen to them for a while but still a good band

I need to check them out i have heard they are incredibly fast, but to be honest most power metal bores me. Alot of it is very similar.

They can be a little repetitive- I'd like to hear some slower songs mixed in..........thy this band- I believe they are quite better:

Got to be the best band with "Dragon" in their name

Yeah, man.  Sonata Arctica was my intro Power Metal band.  I still love them and hold a special place in my heart.

Also, to all of you guy who get bored with Power Metal that is because you need to spot listening to it in a Prog setting.  I mean, sure you can enjoy the fullness of all music alone in your room laying on your bed but Power Metal needs to be enjoyed at a party or in a car when you have to get somewhere REALLY FAST!!!  HAhahha.  Yeah... listening to Power Metal and driving should be against the law...
