Gary Husband is one of a rare breed of musicians in that his expression is divided equally in his capacity as a drummer and a keyboardist of international repute. His classical roots, his quest and development in the improvisational, jazz and jazz/fusion areas - not to mention his tenure in the pop, rock and blues circuits - are all evident inside Gary’s distinct and far-reaching musical personality. His solo album and DVD output over the last few years has also reinforced his status as a critically acclaimed writer and arranger in the contemporary music world.

	Thanks Tony. I am currently trying to nail Gary Husband down to a specific date and have him spend 3 hours on a show in the near future - I have already been sent musical samples by Gary, including a rough mix of a piano piece from the John McLaughlin tribute album being recorded right at the moment. I should add, that the picture shown was taken by myself, during the equipment set-up (Gary was his own drum technician) and dress rehearsals of Force Majeure at Birmingham in March 2004 - when I was given free rein to photograph the rehearsal. Gary's drums are yellow in tribute of the late Tony Williams
