Hi,

1) I'm looking for lyrics of Man At The Back Door by Mahogany Rush (IV).

Gooooogle returned nothing

2) What are other albums like compared to IV (except Frank Marino solo)?

You must listen "World Anthem", "Jaggernaut", "The Power of Rock'n'roll".

Yes, I heard World Anthem. Isn't that a solo project? I found there less prog in comparsion to IV... A real 'Anthem'!

Maxoom **(71), Child Of Novelty **(72)and Strange Universe *** (73) are really Psychic and very Hendrix orientated (the whole of Marino's work is) but here it is almost plagiarism.

IV ***(76) and World Anthem **(77) are more funky than the previous but still hendrixey, many weak moments but still essential albums.

Live ****(79), Tales Of The Unexpected ****(79)and What's Next****(81) are bluesy metal with extra-ordinary guitar fireworks. my fave period

Power Of RnR **(82) and Juggernaut ***(83) are still in the same range as the previous three but only half the songs are good. Really not as good

I lost track of what he did after but the Full Circle * album is not good

First they started as Mahogany Rush for the first four albums

Then until What's next , they were called Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush , but still the same trio. Only Frank's brother Vince is added on that last album.

Then as drummer Ayoub left , they changed to Frank Marino alone

Nowadays, the Mahogany Rush part is revived but only his brother is part of it.

Do you think you could change the title of your thread to Mahogany Rush? Go back to the original post press edit and change the title. This makes it easier to find older threads while using the Search button facility on the top right hand corner. Thanks if you do!!
