If you want album full of classic music reworked by rock instrumentation, this might be for you, but IMHO, this is quite pointless.

I consider these guys made a living on the back of dead composers.

Sean Trane, that is completely wrong. Trace did not make their living on the back of dead composers. Sure, there are a lot of classical influence in their music, but Rick van der Linden is indeed an amazing songwriter. The complete King-Bird suite, which is their pinnacle in my opinion, is completely self-penned, and is indeed an amazing progrock epic.

Trace is in my opinion even better than Ekseption, even though Ekseption was my first encounter with progressive/classical/jazz rock and is still one of my favourite bands. And yes, they also have a lot of self-penned material. But that doesn't even matter in my opinion. Their classical reworks have amazing arrangements and sound unbelievable cool, and that's what matters.

slipperfink, I just looked, and Trace are in the site. but your question could have had a better twist to it in the form of "has anyone seen a trace of Trace?"
