I personally think all their albums are excellent, and I'm not sure what most would consider their best. I think I would vote Delirium Cordia, as I love those creepy atmospheres.

So lets see what you have to say about them.

The debut, hands down:

  1. Fantomas (13)
  2. Director's Cut (12)
  3. Suspended Animation (11)
  4. Delirium Cordia (8)

On a scale from 1 to 15.

Director's Cut. I still haven't heard their first album, though.

^ perhaps it would be interesting to know if one has listened to all Fantomas albums (many only have Director's Cut). I have them all ...

Well, as I expected, all four albums are tied, so far. I do not think they have one that stands out above the others. Although, its only one vote for each, so I don't think this proves anything yet.

I've only got Delirium Cordia and Suspended Animation, but out of the two, I'd give Delerium Cordia a slight edge.

The debut,then Suspended Animation.

The Director's Cut was my first experience with Fantomas and I thought it was very good, but Delerium Cordia is almost unlistenable, imo.

Delirium Cordia: *****
Suspended Animation: ****1/2
The Director's Cut: ****
Debut: (?)

Dunno... pretty much a tie between Delirium Cordia and the debut. Both are sheer originality and insane brilliance. The debut it shall be.

I have their latest two and would have to vote for DC.
