They are likie 60's revivalist of the Velvet Underground or Stooges type. Thay are in a documentary called Dig that was out last year. Brilliant movie brilliant band all electric sitars and tamborines, with pop melodies and cool riffs. Their frontman is a legend. highly recommended

I just downloaded two songs and listened to them and you're right, they are great, all acoustic stuff played with conviction.

Their best album is Strung out in Heavan. A modern masterpiece!

Nah -- those light-weight wannabes can't hold a candle to the Tomjonestown Massacre!Angry

All that chest hair, the almost-unbuttoned shirts, and pantingly-propelled moist middle-aged unmentionables!Shocked

Indubitably, the mind doth boggle! Stern Smile

Edited by Peter
"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!'
He chortled in his joy.
