Reviews less than 200......

Maybe I'm wrong but I think any reviews less than 200 characters are now anonymous but still included in the scores?

After what I've seen here in the past month, this makes scores meaningless. If others don't agree now, give it a few months and I think they will.

Anon comments will degrade the site big time (imo). Either delete them or make sure people are accountable for their views. I guess policing may take some effort.... but from what I see on these forums - there are lots of potential, known helpers.

I have done quite a few reviews and they are around 100 to 130 words. None of them are visible now so I wasted my time.  Quantity does not necessarily equal quality. Those with just a few words to say often have an equally valid point as those who write long reviews. Personally, I used to enjoy reading the short reviews as I quickly got ideas from lots of different people about albums.

I should have just given a score without reviewing. Well, I won't be wasting my time writing any more reviews. It seems like there are enough reviews here anyway.

I do have one further point to make. I can understand blocking the short reviews on albums where there are lots of reviews but for some albums the only reviews there were were short ones. Now it says "No reviews" when I know that some people have reviewed these albums.

Maybe we should get the final score for an album by multiplying the number of words in the review by the rating given!

I feel happy again now.  

I know that my reviews are nothing special but I still like to see them.

I was sure that I couldn't see my reviews last week. Maybe it's because it is now the forum name that shows up with the reviews and not the name that was originally submitted with the reviews.
