I would recommend Stormy Six to be included on Progarchives.  Macchina Maccheronica and L'Apprendista are their two most progressive albums, but Al Volo is the one to start with as it has a heavier more rock sound and is more approachable.

Has anybody ever suggested Skeleton Crew or Sun Ra, or do I need to start a separate thread to ask this question for each of them?
The music I enjoy is complex; varied; deep and well played.

This is a glaring omission; you guys are right, they should be in!!!!!!!!

Andrew, ready to write a (your own) bio? Wink
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Good heavens! I always kinda assumed that Stormy Six was present and correct!

Well, worry not. They're right at the front of the queue now. My more obscure additions can wait. Just as soon as I've finished updating the Hollmer discography I'll get onto it. Smile

PS: Would you be willing to send me a biography, Andrew? I'd be happy to edit and proof read so it needn't be perfect, but I don't know a lot about the band's history and so on, so it would save me a lot of researching and the like if someone else could write the biog. Thanks.
