And by that I treat them equally, so seeing as Rush are a bit behind I'll bump them up one.

Mmm, I won't even think about it. King Crimson has variety of different ways of expressing progressive music and ideas (always using different music styles, especially jazz <3) with the usage of many classical instruments and mellotron (which is a personal love) and changed their sound from time to time. Rush's songs sound a little bit similar to me and this last comment does not mean in any way that I don't like Rush. But King Crimson win this time.

I'm not a really a Rush fan, but I do really like there music. Same with King Crimson, but I like them a little more than Rush.
