Having had all the Tiles albums, I can say that I enjoy Window Dressing the most! The first epic song is amazing, and it has a LOT of variety on it! Each of their albums, IIRC, has a guitar solo piece on it (think Hackett's pieces on early Yes), but WD has a piano & violin duet that is simply beautiful!

The drummer is new and different than the previous three albums, but he's just as good! If you can, get Window Dressing with the bonus live disc, Presence In Europe! I got it and the live disc is very nice as well! If you can, get all the Tiles albums! I got mine in backward order, but they're all great music!

Also, if you like Dream Theater, check out Tiles webpage for a video of a Tiles/DT jam that includes Rush songs!

-Marc.

I love Tiles and I love Window Dressing

Presents of Mind just really does it for me though.

Presents of Mind for sure, followed by Fence the Clear.  That Window Dressing album I found horrid.

Presents of Mind definitely! I love this album
Eventhough it sounds very much like Rush, it has a 'fresh' sound'

and I remember buying it only for 3 euros... LOL

I had all 4 studio albums, got very bored by it, sold them all, leaving myself with the compilation of the best songs from all 4 on CDR. Songs from Presents of Mind constitute the major part of this compilation, hence my vote.

I go with Window Dressing for the sole reason of Pat DeLeon.  Great drummer.
