Ozric Tentacles vs Porcupine Tree

Ozrics are great and they above PT that for sure...

Porcupine Tree evolved and tried different things, their vocal harmonies are great, etc...

But alas it is hard not to notice the "porcupine tree are not prog" comments. I'm the biggest PT fan in the world, but Steve does have a pension for saying things that piss me off.   Anyway in answer to the poll I would take PT over the Ozrics anyday.

I have to admit that since Mr. Wilson arrived on the site and had such a candid and lively discussion with us, I've since revised that opinion. In fact, I'd venture to say that I was the one running my mouth without the appropriate information.

While it still _does_ bother me when people appear to distance themselves from prog (like it's a bad word), I also understand firsthand what it's like to have your music categorized in a way that you don't see eye-to-eye with.
