Another band coming from Sweden. They were active in the early 70's. Me, personally haven't heard anything from this band, but I've read somewhere that they're pretty prog. In the vein of Samla Mammas Manna, Fläsket Brinner (means "The Fat is Burning" or something like thatLOL) play's a mix of Prog-Rock, Jazz and Folk. Very Zappa influenced too.

Discography:

- Fläsket Brinner (1971)
- Fläsket (1972)
- Swedish Radio Recordings (2003)

anything suggestive? Smile

They should definitely be added. I only have "Fläsket": highly recommended for fans of Scandinavian prog.

As Bj-1 says; jazzy prog with some folk influences.

I thought they were here already. All for.
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

I recently ordered "Fläsket". Can't wait to hear it Thumbs Up

They are listed under Progressive Rock on the Progg.se site, so I think they will be a great addition.

Fläsket" is a great album with wonderful work on the Hammond organ, great duo-guitar work in the vein of Wishbone Ash and lots of variety (rock, blues, jazz, symphonic), despite the references an original band, worth to be added!

"Fläsket Brinner" means "The Flesh/steak is on fire".
And yes, they should be added

Bumping this thread.

ADD THEM!!

These guys have collaborated a lot with Bo Hansson (Add Hansson & Karlsson too!). Many of them, along with Kenny Håkansson of Kebnekaise,  act as session musicians on Bo Hanssons albums and he has contributed on Fläsket Brinner's first album:
