Posting just after the refreshing listening. "The Ancient -- Giants Under The Sun" gets my vote.

BTW, there were some pronounced votes for this song in the poll so far, yet only two points in the table... Strange...

My god! The remembering is good! Damn fine twelve-string guitars! Clap Maybe I should have voted for it... I keep changing my mind. Embarrassed

You've just had a heavy session of electroshock therapy, and you're more relaxed than you've been in weeks.

Ancient is musically the best song on the album.

I've had this for a while, at first i didnt really think too much about any of it. but it was Yes so i never gave up on it, i made a tape of it for my car and haven't taken it out for about a month now and i have pretty much fallen in love with all of it. The Ancient is the hardest to get into, its honestly kind of a trippy song in my opinion, it makes me wonder if these boys werent indulging/experimenting/doing what everyone was doing in the 70's during the writing process. That doesnt change the fact that this whole album is amazing. my favorite would have to be The Revealing Science of God.
If it ain't broke don't break it.

Sort of like choosing your favorite among the four hottest Victoria's Secret models...can you really make a bad decision?  Wink

Probably "The Ancient" slightly over the others...I've been listening to Tales a lot lately, to be honest.  Only getting better with age - even disccovered a newfound enjoyment of "The Remembering", particularly the acoustic section.

"The Ancient" I find new surpises everytime. Besides, it's just so wonderfully odd.

Very hard to choose, they are all amazing. If I had to say any then I'd go with The Remembering, for me it is the peak of the mystical side of Yes.

Actually all 4 are superb, but I support now The Ancient, it deserves more than 3 votes.
