I heard "Bath" and "Leaving..." from Maudlins, and I loved them more than "Dowsing Anemome..." from Kayos. What about you?

Kayo Dot could, one day, top "Bath" and "Leaving...", but they haven't yet!

It's unusual to say this considering the creative force behind both bands is the same person, but these two bands are just too different musically to compare. I love them both.

Easily Maudlin Of The Well. Not to say Kayo Dot is bad, I really liked Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue, but they are nowhere near as good as MOTW was.

Nothing sounds even remotely close to Kayo Dot. I enjoy the originality.

And yes I have heard both and realize the similarities, but even so, what I said stands in my book.
