Hi all, I've decided that my Heldon, Pinhas MP3's aren't good enough and I need to buy the full set.  I was wondering if the mastering is different between the Japanese Mini LP versions and the Cuneiform versions?  I especially wonder because Heldon 1 and 3 are combined onto one 2XCD set on Cuneiform, while the Japanese version of 1, is a single CD, and 3 is available as a separate 2XCD set.

Thanks!

Don't know the japanese ones, but Cuneiform is excellent!
I'd advice you the double CD "Electronic guerilla /Its always rock'n'roll" to begin.

I would highly recommend a copy of Ose's Adonia, maybe the best Richard Pinhas recording outside of Lard Free's second album.

^ I agree with that, "Adonia" is a really nice "vintage" electronic travel with vibrating synth sounds. Always from Heldon "family tree" and obscure projects we can also recommend "Drones" (1980) from Jean Philippe Goude
