Ilyena - The Mars Volta:  01:03 until the end of the song , not they're ultimate nice song but...oh well, its just one prog song that gives me the goosebumps.

In The Court Of The Crimson King - King Crimson: WOW! One of my fav's...Its so deep...I wish I could watch King Crimson in a gig doing this song...that would be a dream come true...

Fear Of A Black Planet - Porcupine Tree: It is so groovy, yet so dark and intense, I like the Synths here, by the way it is beatifully produced, Porcupine Tree style:), and the lyrics are kind of curious too...

Pure Reason Revolution - Arrival/The Intention Craft: This one I can't explain so good... But it is realy emersive...not one I would put on a Best Of though.... (Nice Vocals!Nice Percussion)

There is much more, but I wanted to give a rather diverse list, of diferent types of Prog bands.
What is This?
It is what keeps us going...

Here goes: (Apologies for the vague times, I'm at college taking a break so I haven't got the songs with me!)
- The ending passage of 'April Ethereal' by Opeth
- The ending of 'In the presence of enemies pt.2' by Dream Theater
- The entirety of 'Misshapen Steed' by Agalloch
- The latter part of 'Devils Triangle' by King Crimson
- Pretty much the whole of 'Si Monumentum, Requires Circumspice' by Deathspell Omega (progressive black metal, although not recognised by this site)
- Karma Police by Radiohead, the latter half
- The chaotic section, 5-6 minutes in,  of 'Lemmings'  by VDGG

I'll try and post some more later.
Eat heartily at breakfast, for tonight, we dine in Hell!!

-basically all of Dark Side of the Moon
-The part in 'Dogs' off of "animals" when the guitar comes back in after the solo with those two bends.
-the interlude in "jacobs ladder" by Rush.
-the interlude in 'New Millennium" by Dream Theater
-the ending of "stargazer" by Rainbow  "my eyes are bleeding, and my heart is leaving"
- the intro the "the accolade" by Symphony X, especially when the bass and drums really kick in
-the chorus riff in "no quarter" by Led Zeppelin
-the ending acoustic part in "symptom of the universe" by Black Sabbath
-the entire song "within you without you" by The Beatles (George)
-the chorus to "accident" by Ayreon off of the Human Equation

damn this is a good topic, I could go on and on

oh I forgot an awesome one,

the heavy organ part in "sacred sound" by IQ, it pretty much rips off of the organ part in "I get up, I get down" from Close to the Edge by Yes, so I'll have to count that one too

ohh and the awesome keyboard part in 'you never will" by IQ off of Dark Matter at around 3:10

CHEST FEVER : The Band ; the keyboard intro by one of the most under appreciated keyboardist/organist Garth Hundson is immortal.

ON THE SILENT WINGS OF FREEDOM : Yes ;  the entire bass and keyboards.

TOAD : Cream ; Ginger Baker is too good.

MAMMAGAMMA : Alan Parsons Project ; good vibrations all around.

and finally.....

LE CHAMADERE - Alphataurus ; just can't seem to get enough of these guys lately.

The instrumental outro of White Walls, from the album Colors by Between the Buried and Me.
I can never bring myself to listen to the instrumental section just once, I must listen to it at least twice, but usually even more if i can.
