That's probably the reason I avoid playing my instrument in the usual way, with all the well-known effects. As far as I'm concerned, I follow the path taken by Coltrane...

This album perhaps confirms ED as a better clarinetist than Benny Goodman. Just listen to the variation of Bach's "Solfeggietto" in E minor (transposed in Bb key). How clean and fast he plays the arpeggios!

Listened to Kenso's 'Yume No Oka' yesterday. Wonderful melodic and symphonic jazz-rock, though sadly overlooked (even here on PA)!

the above look like they're from the Moon In June label?  v nice stuff my friend lent a whole small box worth of the label stuff incl SM, DFA etc.........they even have an new Indonesian prog-fusion band on their roster!!!!
