Mac. Wilson is great, but somehow I'm not very happy with how his voice fit on early Threshold albums. His voice has that fragile quality that I think makes it more suitable for a calmer context (his solo albums for instance, which consist mostly of ballads), whereas Threshold were pretty heavy from the start. Mac on the other hand has one of the most powerful voices in prog metal today, as well as a warm and unique timbre. Morgan wasn't bad, but he didn't really impress me, partly due to the rather insipid nature of the album itself  (Psychedelicatessen).
