Wow.  If any of you can tolerate death vocals (a la Opeth), GET THIS.

40 minutes of prog/death BLISS, all one track!

And if you like it, you can *buy* it!

I wonder where you're "buying" it from.  When it first came out, there were a lot of 'dummy' tracks that weren't it...  so "buyer" beware!

Great song/album. Dan Swano is a genius. Especially since he wrote all music and played all instruments except for the guitar solos and the death-style vocals.

I heard it's nothing on the first one. Which I downloaded, then deleted so I'd buy it, then ran out of money.

EoS are well ahead of Opeth on their good albums (i.e. the ones with Swano taking a dominant role), but the other albums are pretty dire.

I wouldn't even listen to non-Swano EoS.

One might note that Arena's Clive Nolan wrote the lyrics...  whether that's a plus or a minus is up to you.    Oh, and at least to me, Crimson II is better than Crimson, because of the beautiful keys (NOT played by Nolan...  once again, whether it's a plus or a minus...  ).
