Hi, I discovered this site along with the prog rock genre like one year ago. I advanced a lot in the scene thanks to this site and now I would like to share my views.

It had been a while since I was looking for a good band when a friend recomended me Yes. This is how It started. Then I jumped to Camel, then to Supertramp. Love the virtuoso moments of every Yes band member, the extense instrumentals of Camel and the melodical Supertramp.

I´m also listening to Alan Parson Project, Electric Light Orchestra, Pink Floyd, ELP, Focus and Genesis. And found very good albums from other bands like Bacamarte - Depois do Fim and Harmonium - Si On Avait Besoin D'Une Cinquième Saison. Everything listed above on this page.
Guess I like Symphonic and Crossover prog, yet I´m still trying to extend my range and variety of listening.
Would apreciate any sugestions, thanks

The prog  world is an oyster of pearls , the best part is diving for them! Welcome to the site, best source of old and new prog anywhere ! All you have to do is ask , you are on the right trail but there is zeuhl, ISP (Italian School of Prog), French, German, Japanese, Dutch, Scandinavian , Hungarian and Polish, as well as some wonderful stuff from Chile, Argentina and Brasil . Buen Viaje!
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

Welcome aboard.  From what you've mentioned I think you'd like some of the Flower Kings material and you should check out Spock's Beard and Neal Morse's solo efforts, as well.  There's so much going on in prog that the majority of music lovers barely even know about (like myself before I discovered this site).
