Hi there, this is my last attempt after 25 years, I ask all specialists and collectors to help me to find what group it is, a song what I've heard in 1983 in a Rockdisco, I could localizite the adress of the DJ but unfortunately he died in the meantime. The Style of the song is like VdGG, Marsupilami, Focus, Jethro, Parzival or Ekseption, it's a great prog-rock-sinfonic-song, a bit dramatic opera-style song with refrain "Conversation, Demonstration" than follows a flute solo and spoken words "Downtown, Uptown, Insidetown" or so, accompanied with an long deep sax noice. A lot of people got courious like me in the meantime! Unfortunately I don't have the recording anymore! Please help me, ask some friends to find it finally!. Cheers, Greetings from Munich, Tomaraki

Sounds suspiciously like Jon & Vangelis  from the "See you later " era but I am not sure.

No, it's not Bebop Deluxe, I supposed it one time, but I know all their album and they didn't use flute. Both, Flute and Sax are a part of this song. It's also not Fever Tree, not Hawkwind (4 LP's with Flute and Sax), it's not Marsepulami, Parzival, VdGG or Hammill solo, Focus, Jethro, Out of Focus, Magma, not Pell Mell, not Wurtemberg, not Steve Howe, not Exeption, I checked 'bout 30 italian groups like PFM ectera, not Aphrodites Child, Colosseum, Caravan, Alquin, Gryphon, Kayak, but most of these groups play that style, but it's defenitely not from one of these groups, I realy don't know where and in which way I could find it out!Cry

Also not Chicago, I checked it up! They didn't use flute and have been from their beginning to much soul-jazz-and funk-oriented.
