Oh come on??? I can't get enough of the DT and Rush fanboyism

I'm intrigued as to what would happen if we put all the Rush fanboys and DT fanboys together in one room.

I really like all 3 and I'm not a fanboy of any.

I will vote for ELP.  At their peak they were better than the other 2 and a truly groundbreaking band IMHO.  Rush would be second as they have produced some great albums.  I have plenty of them and particularly love the period about '76-'82. It would be DT third, but that is no offence to DT as I rate them highly and have several of their albums too.  For me they are the best band I have heard in their genre by some way.

So from me it's a big Clap to all 3 bands.

I imagine that there is probably quite the overlap of fans between DT and Rush.  Again pretty obvious which band gets my vote.

Rush to buy sends prices soaring: http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2008/nov/22/food-biofuels-brazil
When was the last time Dream Theater made the headlines in the business section of a broadsheet newspaper?

I only know Octavarium from DT, but from the other 2 I know them quite well, and really like them.

No vote, since I love Caress of Steel, Trilogy and Octavarium.
