Everyone knows Stairway To Heaven by Led Zeppelin, well if you listen to that song by Amon Düül II, track #12, called Three Eyed Overdrive on Made In Germany album, It sounds very similar at about 40 seconds in.  Just a cool similarity.

Was Amon Düül II possibly influenced by Led Zeppelin?
This Song came out in 1975. And Stairway of Heaven came out in between (1968–1971).

Could Led Zeppelin Sue them for this song?
Probably not since the song just sounds kinda of similar.

Just Think of it as a more spacey version of it.

If you don't own the album or can't find the song you can try Itunes or free.napster.com

I`ll check it out when I get home but I`ve never noticed this. Amon Duul II was on a completely different dimensional plane than Led Zeppelin.

No rock band ever plays an arpeggiated minor chord either.
