Hi all, complete newbie here.
Ages ago (probably in the late 1990's) I recorded (on video tape) the episode of the BBC's version of Rock Family Trees which dealt with progressive rock. A bit of a google shows that this episode can be downloaded (or at least I saw a trailer for it). However, what I can't seem to find out, is who performed the theme tune. It sounds like a classic lineup: drums, bass, hammond organ, rhythm guitar, and (stonking) lead guitar. Can anyone enlighten me? Ta! Ozzy |

Hi Ozzy and welcome to PA. I'm going to guess that is a studio band picked to record that specific intro, obviously they are channeling Santana, Cream and Hendrix though.

The guitar sounds a bit like Clapton or Peter Green to me.
The clip plays fine for me - have you got javascript enabled, and Flash player? Ozzy |
