Like both, but this guy a lot more:

In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye

LOL Klaus is so admirable.
But Mirage is not the place to start with his work, his first two are his masterpieces.
vote Camel

One of the easiest polls I've seen in awhile.

Klaus easily.

4.31 | 24 ratings
Mirage

4.29 | 309 ratings
Mirage
1974

I can never shake the suspicion that many people just vote for the one they know rather than knowing both in such polls. Camel's is the much better known and far more reviewed album here.  I see from responses that there are people who know both who voted for each Mirage.

For me, this is a very easy one (though I do like Camel's), Klaus Schulze's Mirage.  I implore people to listen to the streaming track at Schulze's PA page, and read the reviews.  It's a truly wonderful album.

Thanks Micky. It's an apples and oranges poll and I hope that at the least people will have tasted both fruits before choosing which they prefer.  They might find both tasty in their own ways. I find KS's much tastier (it's such an experience), but to each his own.

Incidentally, the thread is locked as it's more than six months old, but this has been done before (albeit about "better album" rather than preferred) --> http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=46100 Currently, both polls have almost the same percentages despite the variance in poll questions.

Poll Question: Which album is better in your opinion?
Poll Choice Votes Poll Statistics

9 [19.57%]

I see I made a similar point there only wordier -- lol.  And The Muffins' Manna/ Mirage could have been a bonus poll choice in both.

EDIT: And the results of other Mirage polls (two have been made for Camel's specifically, and one for Schulze's... One can see that Camel's has received far more votes.  Only one sole vote in the sole K.S. Mirage poll LOL):

Mirage (Camel) poll !!! from December 13 2006
Poll: [Camel] Mirage from October 07 2005
Poll: KLAUS SCHULZE - Mirage from December 27 2005

My own favourite is Klaus Schulze's Mirage. I have abolished my personal top 10 because it changes every week and I have discovered some very interesting music here on PA. But when I had a top 10, Velvet Voyage was on #1 for a long time...
